Hollenbeck Middle School is located in Boyle Heights. It is the home of the Junior Riders. It was founded in 1913. This school has advantageous programs such as a Dual Enrollment program with East Los Angeles College (ELAC), a STEM Medical magnet, and a Magnet Academy of Law and Public Service. In 2017, approximately 1,108 students were enrolled and the school maintained a student/teacher ratio of 18:1.
