Roy Romer Middle School, the home of the Rams, is located in North Hollywood. It was founded in 2008. This school has a variety of academic options for students to choose what they wish to emphasize their education in, which includes a School for Advanced Studies (SAS), a STEM magnet, a Gifted magnet, a Business Design and Technology Academy (BDATA), a Public Service and Leadership Academy (PSALA), and a Visual and Performing Arts Academy (VAPA). In 2019, approximately 1,042 students attended the school and a student/teacher ratio of 25:1 was the average.
